Customs Clearance

Most international moves (except intra-EU) are subject to customs clearance formalities at the destination port or border, prior to the consignment being delivered.

Customs

During the pre move survey, we will guide you through the country-specific documentation required for your move. This is crucial not only to ensure the correct paperwork is completed, but to also avoid including any prohibited goods, e.g for certain countries some or all foodstuffs are prohibited.

Our destination network partner will process your consignment through the clearance formalities and, once released by customs, will coordinate the delivery to your destination residence or placing of your goods into storage, as required.

From the outset, your Constantine Move Manager will be at your disposal for any questions that you may have regarding customs documentation, customs requirements and typical clearance time frames.
